Slinging bundles of steel decking in the wrong way can lead to slippage of the decking from the crane. This may have very serious consequences, varying from damage to materials to loss of life.

This message addresses the importance of slinging safely and indicates the correct way of slinging a bundle of steel decking using two sets of fabric slings.

All lifting tackle should be regularly checked to ensure that it is in good condition and correctly and safely fitted.

Message Format
