This message highlights the need to use appropriate gloves during manual handling operations with steel decking.

Injuries resulting from the manual handling of objects and materials with sharp edges are common in the construction industry. Even minor incidents can lead to significant accumulations of lost time.

Problems can also occur with infections of uncovered cuts or contamination of cuts with chemicals.
